Nirus Tennis is pleased to conduct weekend 2007-08 programs at Evegreen Valley College.

Where: Evergreen Valley College, 3095 Yerba Buena Road,San Jose.CA-95135.

Directions:If you come from San Felipe Road, please take left on Yerba Buena Road,the college entrance will be on your left. DO NOT TAKE SAN FELIPE ROAD ENTRANCE TO THE COLLEGE. Once you take the Yerba buena road entrance, if you want to drop off your kid please drive straight ahead to the roundabout where bus number 31 stops (right in front of police station), we will pick up your kids 5 min before class and drop them off 5 min after class. For peewee classes, we will not be picking them up or dropping them.

Parking:If you want to park, once u enter, parking is on your right. The tennis courts are across the road from parking and you will need to cross the bridge to get to them. There are 8 tennis courts-lighted ones.

There are 3 other courts on the other side of campus, those are not the ones we use. So if you are there, you will need to walk across the baseball fields.

When:   Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays

Timings:  Mondays- 4:30 to 6:30 pm. starting March 10th.

             Fridays- 5-7 p.m.

                Saturdays 10 am to 12 noon Junior Clinic (all levels)

                Sundays 2-4 p.m. Junior Clinic (all levels)

                Sundays 4-5 p.m. Peewee Clinic.

Session Details:

Type of Classes: For our Evergreen Tennis Program we are pleased to offer the following classes, please read through the programs to see which program your child is eligible for.

Peewee Tennis: This program is only meant for kids between ages 4 through 8 years who have no tennis experience. This class will be held Sundays from 4 to 5 p.m.

What to bring: Junior Tennis racquet, hat or visor, water. If you are not sure where or what racquet to buy, contact me at  408 2027061.

Advanced Beginner/ Intermediate Clinics: This program is meant for anyone who has had prior tennis coaching and for kids ages 9 and up who have not had much tennis experience. This is a 2 hour class where we will focus on fitness, technique (swing, footwork, position), rally and matches and points. Kids will be divided into small groups based on their skill level. Ladder matches will be given to kids to challenge each other from time to time.

What to bring:  Tennis racquet, hat or visor, water. Proper tennis shoes and attire required, no jeans allowed.

Adult Classes: Injury free-tennis is the theme for adult classes. A great chance to learn the basics and play with your child. Coming soon.......
